    Day 1 - October 3, 2023 (TUE) - ARRIVE TEL AVIV, ISRAEL 
    October 2, 2023 depart San Antonio, Texas. Arrive in Tel Aviv, Israel. 

    Welcome to Israel, land of milk and honey! Meet your Globus Tour Director at the airport. Group Welcome Dinner this evening at your hotel.  (D)

  2. Tel Aviv-Jaffa-Caesarea-Megiddo-Muhraqa-Sea Of Galilee

    In Jaffa, begin with a guided walking tour in Israel's ancient port city. Private Mass to be organized by Globus at a church in Jaffa. In Caesarea, a guided sightseeing includes the Roman Amphitheater and the Crusader fortress. In Megiddo, take an orientation tour before driving to Mount Carmel. Muhraqa photo stop en route to Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee. Group dinner at your hotel this evening.  (B,D)

  3. Sea Of Galilee. Excursion To Cana & Nazareth

    Sea Of Galilee Cruise - Enjoy a scenic cruise on Lake Tiberias, see an ancient fishing boat said to be from the time of Christ. Take a guided visit to the city of Cana, where Jesus changed water into wine for the legendary wedding here. Here we have time for couples to renew their wedding vows. In Nazareth visit the Church of the Annunciation and St. Joseph's Church in the city where Jesus lived and worked as a carpenter.Private Mass to be organized at the Church of the Annunciation. Enjoy some free time this afternoon and evening.  (B,D)

    Sea Of Galilee. Excursion To Cana & Nazareth
  4. Sea Of Galilee-Mount Of Beatitudes-Tabgha-Capernaum-Magdala-Jordan River-Bet She'an-Jerusalem

    Visit the Mount of Beatitudes, the location of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount. Visit the Church of St. Peter's Primacy and the Church of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fishes in Tabgha. Private mass in the Loaves and Fishes Church in Tabgha. Take a tour of the city before enjoying some free time in Capernaum. Take a tour of Magdala to get acquainted, then go explore on your own. Visit the baptismal spot in the Jordan River where John the Baptist baptized Jesus. Now would be a good time to reiterate the baptismal promises. On the way to Jerusalem, pass via Bet She'an and the ancient Roman archaeological site.

  5. Jerusalem. Excursion To Masada & The Dead Sea

    Private Mass in a church close to your accommodations. Masada's clifftop stronghold can be reached by cable car. This afternoon, before heading back to Jerusalem, enjoy some free time at the Dead Sea Resort relaxing in the Dead Sea. (B,D)

  6. Jerusalem. Excursion To Ein Karem, Bethlehem & The Garden Tomb

    Visit the St. John the Baptist and Visitation churches in Ein Karem to commemorate Mary's visit to her cousin Elizabeth to announce the Immaculate Conception. Visit the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, which was constructed on the location of Jesus' birth. The Holy Sepulchre Church will host a private mass. Visit the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem, which is thought to be the grave from whence Jesus resurrected from the dead.

  7. Jerusalem. Excursion To The Old City

    Take a guided walking tour of Jerusalem's Old City, which includes the Via Dolorosa, the Garden of Gethsemane, and the Mount of Olives. Visit the King David's Tomb, Mount Zion, the Western Wall, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The Holy Sepulchre Church will host a private Mass. (B,D)

  9. Jerusalem- Jericho -- Allenby Bridge-Jerash, Jordan-Amman

    Gethsemane's Kirche aller Nationen hosts a morning private mass. Leave Jerusalem after breakfast. Tour guide in Jericho. The historic Allenby Bridge spans the Jordan River, leading to Jerash. Visit the magnificent Greco-Roman archaeological site in Jerash. (B,D)

  10. Amman - Petra

    Private early-morning mass will be held nearby at a Catholic church. Having a leisurely morning in Amman before heading south to Petra.  Take part in an introductory stroll at Bethany Beyond the Jordan, the location of John the Baptist's alleged baptism of Jesus. Group meal this evening at a nearby restaurant. (B,D)

  11. Petra

    Private mass is held close to your accommodations. Take a walking tour of Petra with a guide to see the Treasury and Siq, which you might recognize from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Lunch is on your own, and traditional tea is served in a Bedouin tent after that. Farewell Dinner at a neighborhood eatery. (B,D)

  12. Petra - Mt. Nebo - Depart Amman

    The Catholic Stella Maris Church in Aqaba will host a private morning liturgy. Visit St. George's Church and the Madaba Archaeological Museum while you are in Madaba. Join an orientation stroll on the legendary mountain ridge at Mount Nebo. Continue on to Amman for an evening departure to  San Antonio, Texas. (B,D)
